Vet bills, vaccines, treats, toys and grooming land in different categories, so finding out what the cat cost this month means adding it up yourself. Record them under your pet and its page shows this month's number; to look further back, filter by that pet and only its expenses are left.
"I've been covering most of it — does my partner even notice?"
Vet visits and food runs usually go on one person's card. Record who paid and what the other person owes, and the balance stays put; when you want to settle up, log a settlement instead of trusting a hunch that you've paid more.
"We have two cats. Can we keep their costs separate?"
Yes. Futari supports multiple pets as separate asset entries. Each animal's costs are logged on their own — no mixing.

- How do I log vet bills in Futari?
- Add a pet with a name and a species and you're set. Then, for every checkup, medicine or grooming, pick that pet when you log the expense. To see all its vet costs, open its page or filter by that pet.
- Food and litter are bought on repeat. Can I set that up?
- Yes. Make the monthly food purchase a recurring expense and choose your pet. When the date comes, a confirmation card shows up on the home screen: tap Looks good if the amount is the same, or Edit if the price changed. Nothing is written to the ledger in the background.
