What's new when a solo ledger becomes a shared one?

Every record needs a payer and a split, and an AndroMoney file has neither, so you set them once for the whole batch: the payer is you or them, and the split is All mine, All theirs or Half each. You can edit rows afterwards. These are records you kept on your own, so if you don't want them to move the balance between you, choose All mine.

AndroMoney has multiple accounts — does Futari?

Futari is one shared ledger focused on the two of you; instead of separate accounts, split modes record who paid and how each expense divides.

What happens to AndroMoney transfers, opening balances and foreign currencies?

Transfers (both the paying and receiving account columns filled) and an account's opening balance aren't income or spending, so those rows are skipped and left in the error log. A row with only the paying column becomes an expense; a row with only the receiving column becomes income, filed under Other. If the currency isn't TWD, the number in the file is written as-is in your base currency, with no conversion and no original currency kept, and decimals are rounded to whole numbers. Adjust those rows one by one afterwards.

Moving from AndroMoney in three steps

In AndroMoney, go to Settings → Export and output your data as CSV.
Upload the CSV here to preview the row count. The AndroMoney banner on the first line can stay, and files in Big5 or UTF-8 both work.
Create a Futari account, open Settings → Import from another app, choose AndroMoney and upload the same CSV. Categories whose names match are filed automatically and the rest start out under Other. Pick a payer and split once for the whole batch: going from a solo ledger to a shared one adds exactly this step.
