I'm not subscribed to Premium — can I still get my data out?

Manebo's CSV export is a Premium-only feature. You can subscribe for a single month, export, then cancel; importing into Futari itself is free.

Can I still edit records after importing?

Yes. Imported records can be edited one by one, just like ones you logged by hand. Rolling back the whole batch is only possible for 24 hours, so it's worth scrolling through it soon after importing.

Does the Futari side of the import cost anything?

No. Premium is only needed for the step where Manebo exports the CSV; importing into Futari and exporting from it are both free.

Manebo supports multiple ledgers — how does Futari handle that?

Futari is one shared ledger for two people. Instead of separate books, you choose a split mode per entry and the balance is calculated automatically.

What happens to Manebo transfers, income and categories?

Rows whose Type (種別) is expense become expenses, income becomes income, and transfer rows are skipped and left in the error log. Income is always filed under Other. Expense categories are names you chose in Manebo, and only names already in Futari's lookup (English and Traditional Chinese for now, not Japanese) are matched automatically; the rest are gathered into one Other group. You can reassign that group as a whole before importing, but not split it back by original name.

Moving from Manebo in three steps

In Manebo, go to "Other" → CSV export (a Premium feature) and choose a date range to export.
Upload the CSV here and check the row count to make sure the export covers the stretch you meant. Manebo files in Shift_JIS or UTF-8 both read fine, so there is no need to convert anything first.
Create a Futari account, open Settings → Import from another app, choose Manebo (まねーぼ) and upload the same CSV. The export has no payer column, so you set the payer and split once for the whole batch. Whatever the two of you shared in Manebo is already one ledger in Futari.
